Sharon Seymour, Prescott Public Library's lead librarian in Adult Services, said when they take out-of-date, worn or damaged books off the shelves, they offer some to smaller libraries in the county, and give others to the Prescott Friends of the Library for their ongoing and special book sales.
She said they throw the heavily damaged books into the Lions recy
cling bin.
